Indiana Business Opportunity Fair
On April 18, 2012, PQC International will travel to Indiana to attend and exhibit at the Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council Business Opportunity Fair. Frank Payne will be a speaker for the workshop “Effective Succession Planning.”

High Velocity Radio Talk Show
On February 27, 2012 Frank Payne was invited to speak on the High Velocity Radio talk show at the Atlanta Business RadioX. Frank had first met the 2 hosts of this show, Stone Payton and Lee Kantor, at the Training 2012 Conference & Expo. He volunteered to participate in their show for about 5 minutes. Right after Frank said, “Training is a waste of time,” Stone Payton and Lee Kantor invited him to come to the radio station to have another conversation, so as to get to know more about Frank and PQC.

ASPLD – Atlanta Syrup Plant Leadership Development Program
Our CEO, Frank Payne, launched the 12-month leadership development program on February 16, 2012. This program offers valuable information for our clients regarding teamwork and leadership skills. Leadership skills can make or break a business, but with PQC’s program, these skills are taught so your business can flourish and prosper.

KSU Sales Career Fair
Near the end of September, Team PQC participated in the Career Fair at Kennesaw State University. An effort to foster our connection with students directly, we were also searching for potential prospects to recruit within our sales force. PQC had a branded booth at the fair, complete with some of our marketing collateral such as coffee mugs and brochures to attract potential associates to the booth.

Mission Trip to Africa PQC
CEO, Frank Payne, traveled to South Africa for the NMSDC Council. PQC International is heavily involved with NMSDC, so when we heard that committee members were soliciting businesses to become involved in the investment mission they were planning, PQC did not hesitate to register. The mission took place from October 8-14, and involved visiting several South African cities.

Training 2012 Conference
The PQC Team attended the Training Conference at the Georgia World Congress Center to learn about new technologies to advance our associates knowledge and become more technology savvy. This event was a fun and interactive opportunity for PQC associates to view the new products and concepts the industry is bringing to the table.

University of Alabama Business Analytics Symposium
The PQC Team attended the Business Analytics Symposium at University of Alabama. Our CEO, Frank Payne, presented a speech on Business Analytics. It was an effort to inform students about the aspects of business, and to prepare them for the real-world situations after graduation.

NMSCD Business Opportunity Fair
During the first week of November, the PQC Team attended the NMSDC Convention in Atlanta. The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) is one of the leading forums on minority business development. The theme for this year’s conference was “Minority Businesses and Corporate America: Raising the Bar through Sustainable Strategies.” This fair was comprised of over 700 exhibitors, including existing PQC International partners.

Annual Golf Tournament
PQC International got a taste of the PGA when they participated in the Eta Lambda Scholarship Foundation’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament. PQC helped raise funds for the Eta Lambda Scholarship Foundation so they could provide scholarship opportunities for outstanding, and deserving, students. This was more than a fundraising event, it was a team-building experience.
